This course explores the different integration patterns needed when designing and building integration flows. The patterns are explained using practical examples on different iPaaS, ESB, or cloud platforms, and hands-on demos are included where needed.
It covers patterns like queuing, pub/sub, event streaming, CDC, Guaranteed Delivery, Canonical Data Models, API gateway, service mesh, and more.

B2B integration [0.5 days]
This course provides a strong foundation for managing digital interactions with trading partners. Some of the topics that will be discussed are partner Management, EDI standards (EDIFACT, ODETTE, X12, …), transport protocols (AS2, AS4, SFTP, … ), and deep dives into EDIFACT, AS2, and Peppol.
Functional and Non-functionals requirements [0.5 days]
This course explores the functional and non-functional requirements for effective integration platforms. Functional requirements will include interoperability, data consistency, and real-time processing capabilities. Non-functional requirements will cover scalability, reliability, performance, and security considerations. Understanding these requirements is crucial for designing robust integration solutions.
Integration Design [0.25 days]
Designing effective integrations is essential for creating scalable and maintainable systems. This module explores systematic approaches to integration design through established frameworks, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Align-Define-Design-Refine (ADDR), and RESHADED methodologies. Participants will learn how to identify bounded contexts and define integration boundaries using DDD principles. The course covers the ADDR framework’s staged approach to solution architecture and demonstrates how RESHADED’s bottom-up design strategy can be applied to integration challenges.
API Security [0.5 days]
Auth2 and OpenID have grown into a mixture of (too) many standards and best practices. Let’s look back at where we came from and where we are heading.
